Island Palms RV Park Rules and Policies

*Specific RV sites are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice. It is not our nature to move you from the site you requested, but on occasion this may occur and we regret any inconvenience this may cause.

*VEHICLES/PARKING:

RV Sites have space for RV, and the vehicle towing RV (where applicable) only. Please advise us of how many ADDITIONAL vehicles/trailers/boat you will be bringing. Additional vehicles may incure a charge of $10.00 per vehicle during peak season and holiday weekends since we will have to arrange for overflow parking.

Cabin Rentals have available parking for 2 vehicles per unit.

Please let us know if you will have a boat or golf cart with you so that we can ensure parking availability.
Visitors to your camp or cabin are NOT guaranteed on site parking. Guests of Island Palms have priority of available parking sites.

*The Common Area under the cabins is available to all Island Palms Guests. BBQ Pits are available for use as well as seating. Please be considerate of other guests.

*FIRE PIT

The fire pit may only be used with approval from management. Due to the location of the pit, we need to ensure that no guests will be disturbed by smoke and that there is no burn ban in effect on the Island or within the Parish.

*Island Palms does not allow “parties” and no underage alcohol consumption will be allowed.

*Pets must be accompanied at all times and must remain on a leash. Pets are not to be left unattended in the cabins. You are responsible for any damages that may occur to the property.

Please pick up after your pet.

*CABIN RULES

 We do not rent to fraternities, sororities or other large party-type groups (such as bachelor, bachelorette, spring break, and graduation groups). If such groups or activities listed below are identified, we reserve the right to remove all persons from the premises without refund. 

  • The person renting & the majority of the tenants must be age 25 or older. 
  • No parties- We do not allow our guests to “Host” gatherings on the property. You must have approval from the management for gatherings that include non-tenants. We do not rent to college spring breakers with or without chaperones 
  • Person booking rental MUST be staying at camp for rental duration 
  • • No drinking by minors 
  • • No illegal drugs 
  • No activity that would disturb neighbors i.e. loud – obnoxious — drunken behavior, public nudity, etc. 
  • • No loud music after 10 p.m. 

Respect the property of others and park near your cabin only. Do not block other vehicles or stairways. Do not use chairs, tables, fishing equipment or any other items from neighboring cabins. 

GARBAGE: 

ALL GARBAGE MUST BE BAGGED – Bagged trash must be taken to the garbage bins near Highway 1.

All BASIC linens, blankets, pillows, mattresses and comforters or provided for indoor sleeping. We do recommend that you bring your own pillows. 

Do not take these items to the beach. 

SMOKING POLICY: 

There is no smoking allowed inside the cabin. Please smoke on the outside porches and decks and use an appropriate receptacle for cigarette butts etc. Please do not throw smoking material on the decks, porches, lawns or grounds. The hallway in the cabin area is open slated to ground below and you could start a fire or burn another guest. Use ash buckets provided around the camp areas. 

*RV SITE RULES

  • Dumping gray water on the ground is not permitted. Each site has on-site sewer connection you are required to use. Leaking sewer hoses must be fixed immediately with no exceptions. 
  • Use of water for non-portable services such as washing vehicles, filling swimming pools, etc. is not permitted. 
  • Campers are responsible for insuring water hoses are leak free. If your water hose leaks, please fix or replace immediately. 
  • Campers are responsible for keeping their sites clean during their stay. Please do not throw cigarette butts or other trash on the ground. 

*Refund Policy Deposits are non refundable EXCLUDING hurricane season when a MANDATORY EVACUATION is ordered by the Town of Grand Isle. No refunds are given for early departure.
